Terms of Service

By creating an account or using the Master Jobs website, mobile experience, or services (collectively the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"), our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Master Jobs is the operating brand of East-West Business Solutions, a company registered in India. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organisation (e.g. an employer account), you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

• You may hold one active account of each type (candidate, employer, admin).
• You must keep your authentication methods (mobile number, email, recovery codes) accurate and up to date.
• You are responsible for activity on your account. Notify us immediately at hello@masterjobs.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or platform integrity.

You retain ownership of content you submit (profile details, resumes, job postings, messages, reviews). By submitting content, you grant Master Jobs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, cache, display, translate, reformat, and distribute that content solely as needed to operate the Services.

You represent that your content is accurate, is yours to share, and does not infringe any third-party rights.

You must not:

• Post false, misleading, or discriminatory job listings or profiles.
• Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract content from the Services at scale without our written permission.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to circumvent our security controls.
• Use the Services to distribute malware, phishing content, or spam.
• Upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services without a written agreement.
• Use automated agents (bots, scripts) to submit applications, post jobs, or contact users at scale.

If you post jobs or search candidates, you also agree:

• To post only genuine, currently-open roles with accurate requirements and compensation where disclosed.
• To process candidate data lawfully, including minimising retention and respecting withdrawal requests.
• Not to discriminate on the basis of protected characteristics in violation of applicable employment law.
• To honour any stated response timelines to applications and messages.

• Free tiers remain free so long as your usage falls within the published limits.
• Paid features are charged according to the pricing in effect when you purchase. Taxes (including GST in India) are additional where applicable.
• Payment processing is handled by PCI-compliant gateways (CCAvenue, Razorpay, Cashfree, Stripe) depending on the region and payment method. We do not store full card numbers.
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the end of the current term. You can cancel at any time from Billing.
• Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
• Service delivery is governed by our Shipping & Delivery Policy — in summary, all entitlements activate immediately on payment confirmation.

Where you grant the relevant consent (e.g. education_recommendations, immigration_recommendations, or affiliate_group_offers in Consent settings), we may share relevant fields of your profile with our affiliates and group companies for the specific purposes you consented to.

Categories of recipients include education partners (e.g. Coursera, upGrad, Scaler, Internshala), immigration consultants and study-abroad partners, fintech partners (salary advance, learning loans), insurance partners (group health, term insurance), and HR-SaaS partners. The complete partner list, as it evolves, is published on the About page. You can withdraw any of these consents at any time without affecting your access to the core Services.

The Master Jobs platform, software, design, brand, and aggregated content are our intellectual property or our licensors'. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

We aggregate job listings from public third-party sources and may link to external sites. We do not endorse or verify the content of third parties and are not responsible for their terms or practices.

The Services are provided "as-is" and "as-available". We do not guarantee that any job posting is genuine, that any applicant is qualified, or that any match will lead to an offer. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Master Jobs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the Services. Our aggregate liability to you will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) INR 10,000 (or the equivalent in your local currency).

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g. fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence).

You will indemnify and hold Master Jobs harmless from claims arising out of your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms or to protect the integrity of the platform. You may close your account at any time from Privacy settings. Obligations that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, liability limits, governing law) survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, unless your local consumer-protection law grants you a mandatory alternative forum.

If you are a consumer resident in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, nothing in this section overrides the protections of your local law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-product at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
